Carrément Tarte was founded in Montreal in 2014 by a French couple passionate about artisanal pastry. Inspired by Breton traditions, our tarts and quiches are distinguished by their signature crust—somewhere between shortcrust and puff pastry—and by the use of simple, high-quality ingredients.

What started with 100 quiches made in a home kitchen has grown into a production of over 5,000 units per week, driven by a team of 25 people. In 2021, we moved from Rosemont to a 15,000 sq. ft. facility in Saint-Léonard, doubling our capacity without ever compromising our craftsmanship.

True to our values, we prioritize local ingredients, free from additives and synthetic pesticides. Our production reflects an eco-conscious approach: waste reduction, recycled packaging, and optimized transportation.
